The FTSE 100 edged up 0.17% to 7,350.74 on Thursday morning, with heightened fears over Brexit weighing on investor confidence. Bookmaker Ladbrokes Coral (LCL) soared 25.8% to 170.8p after it confirmed it is in talks regarding a takeover by online rival GVC, valuing it at up to £3.9bn.
